The Atkins Library is pleased to announce improvements made to the Atkins Express Book Delivery Service.  UNC Charlotte Faculty and Staff can now use the "Request" button feature within the catalog to place a request.  Once you click this button and login to your library account, you will be able to easily request the book or AV material to be delivered.  Some guidelines for the book delivery service are:

• Only UNC Charlotte Faculty and Staff may use this service.  The library does offer a Book Retrieval service for UNC Charlotte Students.

• Books are checked out and mailed to campus addresses and can be returned through campus mail.

• You may place up to five requests a day on available items.

• Requests submitted by 2pm will be mailed the following work day when the library opens.

• Requests submitted on Friday, Saturday or Sunday will be mailed on Monday of the following week.

• The library will not be able to deliver periodicals, equipment, oversize and CIMC materials with this service.

To place a request, do the following:

1. Look for the following button towards the top of the screen when you are browsing the catalog:

2. After clicking the "Request" button, you will login to your library account

3. After logging in, select the item you want to request, and click on the "REQUEST SELECTED ITEM" button
