Frequently Asked Questions

Question:
How do I find the full text using my article citation?

Answer:
If you have a citation, you can see if the Library has the full text of the article by searching for it in the library catalog. Select Journal Title from the drop-down list and enter the title of the journal that contains the article you need. If the library owns the journal, entries with your title will appear - it might be in microform, paper (the holdings say Periodicals), or electronic. Pay attention to the years of holdings to see in which format your particular article can be found.

If the library does not subscribe to the journal, you can still get it by requesting a copy through Interlibrary Loan. (This is only available to current UNCC faculty, staff, and students.)
