http://library.uncc.edu/new/?category=events#2815 <span class="medium">Join us on April 17th to have your rare books, maps, letters, and manuscripts evaluated by internationally known rare book expert, Dr. John Sharpe. A viewing of the library's rich, historical collections will be available, including rare and unique materials dating to Charlotte's early history. Just like any Roadshow there will be music and food and lots of fun! Murrey Atkins Library on February 2nd between Noon and 2pm where parents can relax, visit, and check their email over a cup of gourmet coffee and live Carolina folk music. Atkins will have a number of interactive experiences including personal viewing of original, historical interviews from "New South Voices" or taped episodes from "American Experience," "Frontline" and others. Library staff will also be available to walk parents through Atkin's digital resources.
